About 8 Days a Week

Howdy, fellow NYC designers!

If you are like me, and are enthusiastic and curious about design (and if you're reading this, you likely are), then you relish living and working in our city. We love having a swatchbook of inspiration no more than a subway ride away. NYC hosts some of the top studios, greatest organizations and brightest minds in the design industry. We love attending big conferences and Small Talks, monthly meetups, third Thursdays and Fresh Dialogues.

Still, it becomes a burden keeping up with so many events, listed across dozens of websites. So, 8 Days a Week began in 2007 as part of a series of attempts to fill the need of a NYC design industry calendar. I hope you find it useful, and, if you do, please help this effort by using the site, spreading the word, and participating by sharing your events, thoughts and suggestions.
